About the programme

Graduates of the Master's degree programme Specialisation in Nursing in Specialisation 2 Nursing Care in Surgical Disciplines acquire specialised competence in nursing care in surgical disciplines. The specialised competence in the field is obtained after the graduate has completed at least 1 year of professional practice within 6 years in the field of specialisation. The aim of the training is to prepare general nurses for the provision of specialised nursing care in the range of knowledge and skills corresponding to the requirements of specialised competence according to §54 and §61 of Decree No 55/2011 Coll., which specifies the activities of health care workers and other professional staff.
